Comments: What a kick to reflect on 40 years ago! I remember
having unruly hair then. Some things are great to lose. And
gray is beautiful! What has happened since then? Hmmm. 37
years of marriage, 3 married daughters and 7 grandchildren.
Lived in San Diego, Whittier, and England. I've been a full
time pastor for 6 years since retiring from 23 years of High
tech. R&D mgmt at Beckman Coulter, Inc. Yes, I'm still a
Jesus freak who loves the Bible. It has helped us raise our
kids, survive corporate warfare, and thoroughly enjoy life
in spite of our dysfunctions and neuroses. I actually
believe Jesus is alive and well and that He loves us.
We're both pretty healthy. I'm into running and mountain
biking. Last year I got to canoe 400 miles down the Yukon
river with 5 friends. Just returned in August from a
fascinating trip to Africa working with African pastors to
improve the teamwork with their wives.
I'm convinced we have the chance to just keep learning about
life until the day we die. Then it gets even better. Love
it!

Comments: After working for the City of L.A for 32 years I
retired at the age of 50 and haven't regretted it for a
single moment. First marriage lasted for 13 years and the
second one is on year 14. It's better the second time
around. I was stuck living in Van Nuys for 21 years and then
moved to Simi Valley for eight years and then Gardnerville
Nevada. It is so different here and no traffic. I look out
my window each morning and can see 20 miles no problem.
Started a business with my younger brother in Carson City
Nevada, Scully Steel, but it was too much like work, so
after a year I retired again. I have had my commercial
pilot's certificate for 30 years and never made a dime until
walking into Soar Minden to add on a Glider rating. Now I
tow gliders and make money doing what I like best, Flying.
The soaring here is great as well. My life has been full and
rich. I am still in contact with many of my classmates and
friends. See some each year at Mule Days in Bishop. Becky

I, we have lived in Seattle for the last 30 years, (wow!)
and raised 4 great kids (3 daughters and one son). Two are
married and one more is getting married next summer, the

beach. We are excited about being back in the sun, and
hopefully connecting with some of our old friends. Tom works
in construction and has a job in Santa Barbara, I work from

daughter is moving down from Seattle at the end of August so
she can go to school in the nursing field, (and also to go
to the beach!!)
