Big Art left us on June 13 2006 due to heart failure. Mike O'Neal
Mike O'Neal died a few years ago in Europe. Mike O'Neal
and I became friends at Clark Jr. High. I don't have enough
fingers and toes to count all the good times and adventures
we had growing up. Mike is the one who got me into pole
vaulting in 8th grade. We would go to a place behind Ananda
Ashrama (top of Pennsylania) and we would practice with an
aluminum pole and land on a mattress. Then there were the
times we would go fishing at the top of New York for Blue
Gill early in the morning. After graduation Mike went into
the Marines and I would see Mike from time to time. Then in
1976, when Sandy and I were married, Mike showed up from
nowhere in a Rolls Royce and offered to drive Sandy and me
from the church to the reception. Mike was just that kind of
person. Always a good friend and full of surprises.
Mike will be missed.

Comments: 30+ years, well alrighty then! I was just contacted by an old school friend, Frank Miller class of 72. he and maybe some others wondered what became of me. I`m alive and well. right before i DIDNT graduate i got married which ultimatly failed in 74. I joined the Army in 75 and served till 78. I then moved to Spokane with a gal i met in the army. 3 beautiful children later that too ended in divorce. No complaints No regrets. I was very saddened to learn of Kieth Mihall`s passing he was my best buddy,i spent more time at his house than my own. I have many wonderful memories of our times, the backyard pool antics, the garage clubhouse, the cars, and especially our trip to Lake Mead. My deepest condolences to his wife and children. I am currently married again, to Christy the woman i wish i could have met the first time. I am happy,contented and looking forward to my (golden years).
