I graduated from SDSU, got married and lived in San Diego for about 6 years. But, then my husband and I moved to the Seattle area in 1990. We've lived here 15 years now, and I don't see many friends from Calif. very often. We love to come down to Calif and visit when we can though. The biggest changes in my life began when I got clean & sober (over 18 years ago now) and turned my life over to God. It's so awesome to see many of you who always had or now have God in your life! Victor and I share our recovery, our faith and two wonderful daughters! We keep very busy with lots of church activities especially children's and music ministries; and with sports, particulary soccer and basketball! We've had some rough times, but we've also been blessed over the years too. I was able to stay home with my girls when they were little. Since they've been in school, I've taught preschool and worked with special ed students, including deaf kids and autistic kids. I've worked with every age from preschool-high school. Now, I have a daughter in high school and I work at a high school. I almost feel like I'm in high school again! It's a fun, crazy atmosphere to work in! I enjoy it so much I'm checking college programs to go get my teaching certificate and masters. And I still keep writing whenever and wherever I can (volunteer/unpaid, that is). I would love to hear from you. I have a wonderful life living in the northwoods of Wisconsin. A few years ago we bought our retirement home on 100 acres of wooded forest land. The kids are all doing great and we are so proud of them all. My son, Kevin decided last year to join the US Marines and has given us our beautiful granddaughter. All the kids have made being parents such a joy and a lot of fun. They spend a lot of time here with us in the summer months rafting down the river and fishing. I work from my home office for a firm in New York and love my job and the people I work for very much. I also do a lot of wildlife photography on the side. As with everyone we have had trying times and very good times, but at this point in my life I can honestly say I couldn't be more content and happy. We live a quiet peaceful lifestyle with no neighbors or noise around, just a lot of nature and wildlife. My free time is spent gardening in the summer and fishing.
